Hey,
For iSci-2A18 you will learn the biochemistry in an entire biochemistry unit, so no worries there.
For psychology, though we do not learn it formally, the PNB department at Mac has allowed all iSci students to enter directly into 2nd year psychology courses after first year (as they deem that with our experience from iSci we will have enough knowledge/skills to pick up the content from second year).
If you were to transfer to another school after first year (if that's what you're asking), I'm pretty sure things would get rather messy with course equivalences. I'm not completely sure if you would get accreditation for first year astronomy or psychology at any school other than Mac.
And seriously, you guys are thinking so far ahead!! You have to remember when we entered iSci first year, iSci-2A18 wasn't even created, heck most of iSci-1A24 wasn't even created! We didn't even know our first year curriculum. We had no idea what our next project would be until like a week before (except for Cancer, which I think we were told about right after Christmas break).
Live on the edge a bit, take risks, be aware of surprises, because seriously, this program will take care of you and will allow you to go in any path you want. Just have fun and relax before "boot camp" starts. The real stress begins for us 2nd years having to figure out possible concentrations, and making courses we like fit haha.
